The
Fallen

Christmas Eve, A.C. 198
The snow had continued to fall over the open fields of the cemetery. Trowa
held Midii's hand as they walked through the rows of crosses. It was here
that the great "Heroes" of OZ that had been killed during the Eve Wars were
buried. Other then Lady Une, it seemed that no one else came here.
Midii stopped and looked at the graves when she saw a familiar name. Lt.
Walker, killed at the battle of Corsica. Lt. Otto, killed while piloting
the Tallgeese at the Cinq Kingdom. Captain Bellam died leading an attack
on the Cinq kingdom, killed when the Wing Gundam shot down his transport.
Captain Miller, died in defense of the Cinq Kingdom during Romafellers final
attack. Colonel Coster, The Butcher of the Ardennes, killed in battle while
leading Task Force 27 against Romafeller mobile dolls.
Two fresh graves had been dug only a few months earlier, Sgt. Course and
Major Ordway, both killed in a raid while fighting against Ralph Kurt. There
were so many, Midii took a deep breathe, she never understood why so many
would have to die, all in the name of peace. Midii tried to hold the tears
back as she walked through the fresh snow, but she could still see them,
she almost could still hear the sound firing in the distance. It seemed
that this Christmas there wasn't going to be any blood shed, no more soldiers
like them would die. The snow kept falling.
It was nearly 11:30, Captain Mitchell and Sylvia sat together in front
of the fire. Mitchell looked at Sylvia in the pale light, he still had a
hard time accepting that she was with him again. She smiled at him, "You
seem awfully quiet tonight, is there something bothering you?"
Mitchell looked at the fire as it burned, "No, for the first time I don't."
He held Sylvia's hand, carefully rubbing her soft skin with his fingers.
Sylvia said, "It's getting late, think we should be going to bed?"
Mitchell nodded and released her hand and turned off the fireplace valve.
He slow stood and helped Sylvia to her feet. He let her take a few steps
to get in front of him, he then moved in and lifted off her feet.
He could feel her warm body against his as he carried her across the floor
and up the staircase. Sylvia made herself comfortable in the Captain's arms.
Mitchell got to the top of the stairs, and opened the bedroom door with
a nudge of his foot. He walked across the bedroom and laid Sylvia carefully
on the bed. He could feel her trembling slightly from the cold, it was an
old house sometimes some of the rooms would be freezing.
Mitchell felt her warm body with his hands as he moved blanket around her
body. Everytime he was with her he had the same feeling that he wasn't worthy.
She was of noble blood and one of the finest and most respected families
in Europe, he was merely an Alliance cannon fodder officer. He could see
her lovely features and feel her smooth skin. He moved his fingers up her
neck and into her hair, and took the clips out.
He slowly laid on the bed next to Sylvia, moving his body closer to hers.
His hands moved along her body, carefully pushing off her cloths and moving,
looking for any tended spot. He moved into her, and kissed her on the mouth,
slowly moving along her neck. In the dim light, Mitchell's eyes fixated
on Sylvia's eyes. He held her face in his hands.
Sylvia looked into the Captain's eyes, the years of fighting had taken
there toll on him. He had seen far too much. She had wanted to find him
after the end of the war, but she had heard that he died in confinement.
When she found out that he was alive, something in her sparked, she just
had to see him again. She wanted to help him, and stay with him.
The Captain moved carefully, but still stayed fixed on Sylvia's eyes. He
moved his body until he was inside of her, until they were one. Mitchell
could here her start to breathe heavy, and feel himself starting to as well.
He could feel the pressure growing, as Sylvia softly moaned, until finally.
They both breathed heavily, still feeling the pleasure high, the Captain
kissed Sylvia, moving along her neck, silently whispering into her ear,
"I love you."
Trowa moved slowly, holding Midii in his arms as she laid her head on his
chest. For the first time he could remember he was actually enjoying this
time of the year. Many times he saw the others go home, and spend time with
the ones they loved, while he remained alone. Duo was at home with Hilde,
Quatre was with Dorothy, Heero was with Relena, this was how it had been
last year, with Trowa being alone, but now he had someone, and he had a
family now.
He could feel the stands of Midii's long blonde hair against his chest,
as it lay spread out. Trowa moved his fingers through her long hair. Midii
looked at Trowa, it still seemed odd to see him smiling, but she wasn't
about to complain. Now would as a good of time as any.
"Trowa, there is something that I have to tell you." Midii could feel her
heart start to race, she was still worried about what Trowa might say. Trowa
looked at Midii and pulled her closer to him, "What is it, Midii?"
"I've know for sometime now, but I'm pregnant." She braced herself for what
he might do, she was still worried he might be upset.
Trowa smile remained, his eyes grew larger, he had known for sometime, but
didn't tell Midii, it still seemed make his heart jump to hear it.
"Are you sure."
Midii closed her eyes, "I saw a doctor about it, it must have happened when
he first got back together. I wanted to tell you sooner, but I just didn't
know how."
Trowa moved slightly and cradled Midii in his arms, moving his hands around
her warm body. He listened to the silence in the room, until Midii fell
asleep, he held her the rest of the night.
The End, Merry Christmas and hope everyone enjoyed.
