“We have to be there soon,” Midii groaned as Trowa’s hands explored her curves through her silk blouse.
“We can be late,” he whispered, nuzzling her neck.
“Trowa, we already are late, we need to get going,” she replied, her hands pulling at his, as she tried to extricate herself from his embrace.
“Then a few more minutes won’t make a difference will they,” he asked with a devilish smirk as he pulled her back against his form. His hands moving to cup her face tilting her head so he could claim her lips.
“Oh boy, I’ll just turn around right now, get a room you to,” Damien said from his wheelchair. His strong arms resting on the wheels as he grinned at his blushing sister and her boyfriend, “remember what Christof and I said before, don’t go mauling the sister. I can still beat you up, bang boy,” he said with a chuckle.
“Damien vous oaf, soyez silencieux, [1]” Midii said softly, smacking her brother on the arm as she broke free of Trowa’s embrace.
“J'un oaf, OH vous me blessez soeur plus chère, [2]” Damien said with mock offence, as he held a hand to his heart and his eyes glittered with mischief.
“Idiot,” she said with a chuckle, moving back into Trowa’s arms and smiling at her crippled brother. He was such a trooper, jumping back into life.
“What did you say,” Trowa asked her in a whisper, when Damien turned back out the door.
“Sibling antic’s that’s all Trowa,” she whispered, before pecking him on the nose and dashing out of the door.
“Come back here you minx,” he laughed as he chased after her.
“Christof, have you ever seen your sister so happy,” Andre asked softly.
“No father, I haven’t, things have changed now haven’t they, she has Trowa now.”
“She has Trowa but we are her family, we will always hold a place in her heart,” Andre said softly, with tears in his eyes.
Lady Une watched from the sidelines as the people who she had fought along side, smile in merriment and joy. War had been averted once more, and the peace was saved. She had to smile as she realized that it had been her niece, a young woman taken through trials and tribulations that would have destroyed a lesser person had saved them. She smiled as she saw her nephew Damien and her adopted daughter, Mariemaia sitting side by side speaking of the problems they faced due to their wheelchairs. Damien was good with children, she mused, she had never seen Mariemaia so comfortable with her current disability.
“Woman, I apologize for you my rude behavior,” an arrogant voice filtered across the meadow as Wufei goaded by Sally’s words ate humble pie.
“Rude behavior, is that what it was,” the smirking woman in question asked softly, her eyes alight with mischief.
“My questioning your ability’s…” he mumbled.
“So what do you say then,” she smirked.
“I’m sorry…” he all but whispered, his eyes turned towards the ground as Sally stood next to him, his arm about her waist. The two women smiled at each other as Midii repeated her question.
“I said I’m sorry,” Wufei said slightly louder, and Midii only giggled as she repeated her question.
“I said I’m sorry, and if you ask me to repeat myself one more time, you will find yourself skewered to the wall,” he growled as she smiled innocently.
“Who me, I would never do such a thing,” Midii said softly with a small smirk.
“You’ve made me the happiest man in the world,” Trowa said softly as he held her.
“Get a room,” Wufei grumbled, and Midii only lunged forward crushing the grumbling Chinese man in a hug.
“Thank you,” she whispered.
Nerves of steel, he thought softly, my daughter is like her mother, she has nerves of steel, Andre thought softly as he watched the festivities with a happy heart.
