AN: This part 3 of the Trowa sequel to AC 202 contains a Lemon. Well maybe it's only a lime but if it is it's a very sour one. In any case I hope it doesn't suck. This story takes up where Trowa's flashback ends but from Midii's POV.

Part 3
Midii closed her eyes and leaned forward on the railing of her balcony letting the balmy night breeze caress her skin. If she concentrated hard enough maybe she could make believe that she was back there again. On the Earth, with him. It hurt to remember, knowing what she did now, but it was so tempting to pretend that someone loved her, and this beautiful night wouldn't let her forget.
***
She walked upstairs to her bedroom numbly. The smell of the sea coming from her hair and clothes, and the plush carpet greeting her bare feet went unnoticed as she tried to comprehend what he had just told her. The Preventers knew about her, but let Trowa take her away, and he was with her now to…make amends? What did that mean? Why did he think needed to do that? Her question to him about running away now that she knew the truth was forgotten. It was just a taunt after all, just to see what he would say. She didn't know where this was leading, but she would stay and find out.
When she came downstairs again the savory smells of his cooking greeted her. She found him in the kitchen having showered and changed faster than she had. He was breathtaking in that white cotton shirt that he hadn't bothered to tuck in or do up all the way. He didn't look up from his cooking but knew she was there, "We're going to eat outside. I'm almost finished, why don't you go sit down." She did as he suggested without asking if she should help. Her cooking left much to be desired in the taste department.
And the perfection of the day continued into the evening as she sat down and admired the majestic sunset laid out before her. When he came out with their supper all she saw was him. They ate quietly and she knew his cooking must be delicious but she couldn't taste, she could only think of him. She watched him eat. She watched his hands as the worked the utensils and then raised food to his mouth. His perfect mouth that she had been dreaming about for so long. Were those lips soft?
When he stood up to take her plate away she broke her silence at last, "Trowa what did you mean 'to make amends'? What do you need to amend?" Trowa placed the plate down slowly and looked down on her gently, "Lets take a walk on the beach."
*
Midii wrapped her sweater around her tightly though the night was beautiful. She was nervous. They had been walking on the beach for about five minutes now in absolute silence. Midii wanted to ask again and then decided against it. Trowa didn't babble like most people. Every word he spoke had absolute meaning. She would wait till he was ready.
She didn't wait much longer. Trowa stopped and turned to her, the rising moon illuminating him from behind. "I was such a child. I thought I was quite mature and considering other children I guess I was, but not mature enough to forgive or to with hold judgement. I had no right to judge you. You at least killed to take care of your family. I only killed because they told me to and I thought that was all I was good for. To me, if you weren't fighting you were just waiting to die.1 The idea that some needed to fight in order to protect the weak hadn't even occurred to me. You taught me that, but I only realized it later. All I knew then was that the only friend I had ever had betrayed me."
Midii forced herself to breathe. How could he be saying this? He made it sound like she wasn't to blame but she was, she had betrayed him and there was no excuse but all the same her eyes filled with tears at the thought of his forgiveness. His hands reached out to grab her arms gently and he leaned forward slightly, "Midii…I'm sorry."
How many times had she imagined a scene something like this? A small sob escaped her lips and her tears began to fall. She looked down trying to hide them but Trowa tilted her head upward to meet his eyes. He didn't wipe her tears away but let them fall and they stood there for what seemed like an eternity, just looking at each other until Trowa broke the moment with a kiss. His lips were soft. They brushed against hers gently and time stopped for both of them. He tasted her tears and moaned slightly. She opened her mouth and he deepened the kiss probing with his tongue to taste her from inside. This first kiss grew in intensity and he wrapped his arms around her pulling her into him. She clung to him tightly afraid that he might let go.
They broke briefly for air and then he was kissing her everywhere. His soft kisses moved up her neck to bite softly at her ear. She tilted her head back and ran her hands through his auburn hair, pulling his head down to meet her lips again. His hands roamed all over her body and when one softly squeezed her breast she gasped at the fire that spread within her. Her fingers worked nimbly to undo the buttons leaving his shirt on and she pushed it off of him and trailed kisses down his chest while running her nails over his back.
He raised her up only to lay her gently on the sand and then his body covered hers. She hadn't noticed her shirt coming off but now Trowa was undoing her bra and gently kneading her breasts as their tongues tangled. He broke their kiss and immediately took one of her nipples into his mouth. She arched her back in pleasure and a sigh of contentment escaped her, but she needed more.
Trowa needed to touch her everywhere. His hands glided up her inner thigh beneath her skirt and rubbed the wet area of her underwear eliciting a heated moan. He rubbed harder and covered her mouth with his so her moans met his mouth. She kissed him in a needy and insistent manner and his own control was slipping. She moved to suck and bite his neck and between kisses she whispered "Please, I need you." Her need was only exceeded by his own and he pushed her underwear down as he felt her undoing his pants and reaching in to grip what was inside. He almost lost control when he felt her warm hands meet his tender skin, sliding up and down. With an almost feral grunt he pushed her hands aside and slid into her. She arched her back in ecstasy and pushed him deeper into her. He slid out only to have her thrust her hips forward to meet him again. They met each other time and time again like this, their need and passion growing until he felt her spasm beneath him and clutch him tightly. The site of her face glowing with absolute satisfaction sent him over the edge and he thrust a final time to come deep within her.
He collapsed beside her and gathered her close to him. She sighed with contentment as she rested her head on his bare chest hearing his heart pound strongly. He whispered hoarsely into her hair, "Midii it's such a gift to have found you again. Everything will be better this time. I won't fail you again. I promise." She didn't answer him but stayed quiet as he drifted off to sleep. His words had filled her with guilt and dread.
It was all wrong. He hadn't forgiven her, he had misunderstood her. He excused her by blaming himself. How could he tarnish himself with her sins? Again tears filled her eyes but this time they weren't from gratitude, they were from despair and guilt. He didn't understand what a horrible person she really was. With anyone else she could accept this misunderstanding but not with him. It would be like betraying him all over again.
It was so hard to pull herself away from the rise and fall of his chest and walk away from his warmth into the night that suddenly felt so cold. When she felt she couldn't wait any longer she disentangled herself and laid her sweater across him. She couldn't stop herself from taking the risk of waking him and brushed her lips gently across his before she disappeared into the night.
He woke up alone and despairing, but determined to give her time to do whatever she needed.

Midii's eyes took in the clock. "It's late, I have to get some sleep if I want to look for a job tomorrow." She got into bed but still sleep wouldn't come. How could it? She tried to redeem herself, to become the girl he thought she was but then it was too late. Whether it had been his intention all along, or maybe her disappearance had only helped to strengthen his true vision of her, but when he finally found her it was because he needed her as a spy.
Sometimes you run away as a test, because you need someone to find you. But he hadn't looked, confirming her worst fears.

Duo Maxwell cursed as he made his way to the front door. Who was up this early? He opened the door to reveal a disheveled Trowa. "Trowa? You look like shit. Did you sleep at all last night?" Duo's observation was accurate but he pushed his question aside. There would be no hesitation today. "Duo I need you to help me find this girl." He held up Midii's picture, "Her name is Midii. I think she may be on this colony. I have to find her." Duo squinted at the picture. Beautiful chick with large light blue eyes and platinum blonde hair. What a looker, and that hair was one of a kind. Hair…parking lot…Cassadio's. Something clicked in Duo's mind.
1. This is a paraphrase of something Van Fanel says in Escaflowne: "If you don't fight then you are only waiting to die."
AN: Well it's a little short and took long enough to get out but at least it's something. I've been busy with school once again and so the delay. I'll try not to let the dreaded approach of Finals slow me down cause I really want to continue this story. Trowa and Midii always have so many possibilities open to them.
