How It's Going to Be.

It was late afternoon, Marlene sat alone on the porch of her brothers house. She looked over the seemingly endless green lawns and gardens, back towards the black metal gates that surrounded the estate.
It was warm that day, no clouds.
Quatre walked out onto the porch and leaned against the rail. "I thought that you'd be out here."
Marlene turned and looked up at her younger brother, "The weather was nice, I figured I'd come out and get some air. I thought that you'd still be working."
Quatre smiled, "Well, the company can get by without me, besides, I really haven't had much free time lately."
"I thought that you'd be with Dorothy right now."
"She's busy right now, besides I really haven't spent much time with you since you've come back to Earth."
Marlene looked back over the green grass, "It's all right."
Quatre looked at his sister, "Will you be going out again tonight."
Marlene nodded.
Quatre said, "If you want, maybe sometime you could invite him for dinner, I'd really like to meet him."
Marlene looked down at the stone steps, "He's really sort of quiet, but maybe sometime."

Marlene hadn't told her brother, or anyone else for that matter, much about Johnnie. There had been so many times when she had wanted to tell her younger brother, he was understanding, and would be accepting of him.
There was no one who knew how she felt about him. Marlene loved him, and wanted to be with him. But still, even though they spent so much together talking, she still so little about his past.
Johnnie still had dark secrets in his past, and still suffering from these sins.
All she wanted was to be with him.

Chris opened her eyes and looked over at the clock on the bedstand, there was still two hours before dawn. She up in bed, and looked around the dark room, letting the blankets slide off the upper part of her body.
She could feel Ralph's hand against her leg, he was asleep now.
Chris touched the long blonde strands of her hair, moving them away from her face.

Chris moved her hand down her shoulder, moving it against her arm, towards her wrist.
She rubbed her hand across her wrist.
She could still remember that horrible night on their old colony years ago, the memories were burned into her mind.

Everything that had happened, everything that she had seen and every sound, how could she ever forget.

A voice called out to her, calling her name. She remembered the way Ralph held her arm, he had tight grip on her arm.
Chris moved her fingers along her arm, remembering where Ralph had held her arm.

Ralph led her away, as the second wave of Alliance mobile suits were mopping up the area.
There was no doubt in her mind that if she stayed, she would have been killed. Ralph saved her.
By morning it was all over.
Ralph had stayed with her the entire night. His entire family had also been killed, they were both alone, no where else to go.
It seemed no matter what happened or how bad things got, they always would end up back together.

They had started a new life together now, and would try to leave the past behind.
Chris had wanted to come back to the colonies, it had always been the place she thought of as home.
They would try and put the painful memories of the past behind them. All the blood shed, the loss and loneliness.
They wouldn't be apart any more. This was how it was going to be, this would be their new life.

Chris could feel the cool air against her skin, she pulled the blankets back over her as she laid her head back against the pillow.
She looked over at Ralph, as he slept beside her. She loved him, no matter what happened she wanted to be with him.
She moved her hand down along side her leg until it met Ralph's. She felt his fingers with her soft hands.

Trowa opened his eyes and moved slowly as he heard the soft sounds coming from the next room over. He glanced down towards Midii, she slept soundly as she laid next to him. Trowa moved his feet to the cold wood floor, as he walked slowly towards the door.
He walked into the next room over and walked to the crib, looking down at the small angel. Marie looked up at him with her green eyes, she had pushed the pink blankets off of herself, and moved restlessly.
Trowa carefully lifted her and carried her to the rocking chair in the corner of the room.
Her eyes, no matter how many times he saw them, it choked him to see that she had his eyes, looking back at him.
She moved in his arms restlessly, making soft noises.
He said lightly, "Don't worry, everything's fine."

Trowa held her as she settled down, "It's Okay."
He wasn't sure how long he held her, might been only few minutes, maybe even hours. The time didn't seem to make much difference to Trowa.
He loved his daughter, there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for her.

Trowa looked at the small angel, as she yawned and stretched. Trowa picked her up, and walked across the cold floor, laying her into her crib, pulling the blankets over her.
Trowa stood over the crib, looking down at the sleeping angel, she looked so peaceful.

Trowa turned his head slightly as he heard the door open. Midii walked into the room, walking over to the crib, standing beside Trowa.
Trowa turned to Midii and nodded.
They walked to the door, and stood outside the room.

Trowa whispered, "She's all right, just was a little restless."
Midii smiled, "That's good to hear, I woke up and figured that this was where you'd be. Its pretty late, we'd better try and get some sleep."

Trowa watched as Midii turned towards the door to the bedroom, he moved his arm against Midii's legs, sweeping her off her feet, and holding her in his arms.
Midii looked up at him, a little suprised. Trowa could feel her put her head against his shoulder.
He carried her into the bed room, closing the door behind him with his foot.
Trowa carefully laid Midii down on the bed. "I figured since were both awake now, we might as well take advantage of it. I know its been a hard few weeks Midii, with everything going on."
Midii moved on the bed, "Don't you have to work tomorrow?"
Trowa laid down beside her on the bed, "Don't worry, it won't be the first time I've gotten by without sleep."

Midii laid her head against Trowa's chest, letting her hair spread out against his skin.
She stared into the darkness.
Trowa said softly, "Feeling all right tonight Midii?"

It seemed odd for Trowa to be like this, usually he hid behind the steel cold mask he had always worn, he acted like an entirely different person.

"I guess the stress of making the wedding plans, along with everything else that has been going on, it just takes time."
Trowa touched Midii's hand, "Still thinking about her?"
Midii looked towards her lover, "Its hard to forget. I really don't know what I should do about it, I know she's my cousin, and nothing can change what happened, but I just don't know Trowa."
"I know how painful it can be. But I know your strong, I know you'll make it through this. What ever path you decide, you know that I'll stay beside you."
Midii moved closer to him, Trowa feel her silky blonde hair against his body.

He could feel her weight against his body.

Trowa moved Midii's body, laying her against the silky sheets.
Trowa held her face in his hands, his fingers against her cheeks. He moved hand back to sweep his long bangs back as his lips met hers. Midii cewed lightly, as she felt Trowa's embrace.
